Nuno Mendes, chef at Viajante in east London is one of the driving forces behind The Long Table project in Dalston. 

Our head chef from St. JOHN BREAD and WINE Lee Tiernan has been cooking every Friday night along with a rolecall of excellent street food purveyors in Abbot Street, E8 in a disused space featuring a food market, live music and of course great eating.

There's one Friday night left before Christmas for The Long Table and so this Friday, December 16th 2011 Lee will be cooking between 6.00 pm and 1.00 am. To get there take the overland train to either Dalston Junction or Kingsland, find a space around the fire pits, wrap up warm and enjoy what this new street food project has to offer.
