St John in Soho!
The first date for your diary is June 7th...
In aid of the wonderful and unique Soho Parish School, St John will be joining such Soho stalwarts as Bocca di Lupo, Quo Vadis and Lina Stores to give you a day of fun and food! We will be firing up the grill to give you our famous ox heart buns with pickled walnut... and don't forget the doughnut for pudding!
As ever Trevor will be setting up his tippler’s tasting corner, he will talk you through all the wines kindly donated from the local restaurants and impart his wisdom - sometimes more fun than fact! As an extra treat he has a special guest bringing their wines all the way from the Seresin Winery in New Zealand, and of course he will show you the delights of our own St John wines too. It's a must for a token or two...
Art (and doughnut) Car Boot...
The second note in your calendar, June 8th
Come and join us for the 11th annual Art Car Boot Fair just around the corner from Bread & Wine in the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane! Last year we sold out of doughnuts in just one hour, this year we will be taking precautions and stocking up, but you've still got to be quick! Come down, buy some art, draw on a car, or perhaps ask Peter Blake to sign your doughnut...
And finally... an invitation to our Fete du Vin!
Get down to the Minervois for June 14th
We are holding a lunch at our winery at La Liviniere for a jolly band of vignerons, buyers and interested folk to celebrate & taste our new vintage Boulevard Napoleon! Tristram, our Head Chef at Bread & Wine, will be cooking, Trevor will be making sure your glass is full andFergus will ensure a good time is had by all. You are very welcome, please let Kitty know if you would like to come, she will be on hand to help with your arrangements. There are plenty of flights quite nearby, Beziers, Montpellier, Cacassonne, Perpignan... happy to advise.
See you there!
