A Thrill Seeker's Feast!

24 Sep 2015

An exciting collaboration, a feast for the senses!

Late last year Noble Rot Magazine met up with artist Brian Eno to taste some of the world's most exciting wines.  Discussions took in the diverse merits of wines from Santa Barbara Riesling to Grand Cru Burgundy, but when they opened a bottle of JP Robinot's "bonkers" Loire Chenin Blanc Luminere de Silex 2004procured from us at St. John, the conversation expanded...

Eno enthused: "It's completely mad.  It confirms my feeling that I am a thrill seeker. I don't think I would want to drink it all night, but if you are a thrill seeker, a very nice idea for an evening would be to have a few different wines like this that make you go 'wow, that's really something'!"

Well of course, we couldn't let that suggestion go unanswered!

St. JOHN & NOBLE ROT MAGAZINE PRESENT

A THRILL SEEKERS' FEAST

Trevor & Fergus aren't averse to a thrill themselves, as of course you know! And together with Noble Rot we have deviated from St. JOHN's usual French-only wine policy to put together a roller coaster ride of the unusual, the mind expanding, the rich, the rare and the almost crazy.  Fergus will be presenting dishes which enhance, expand, compliment and contrast, and Trevor will join the Noble Rot founders Dan & Mark in explaining and opening discussion, just like that moment with Brian where it all began.

However you get your kicks, it'll be quite an experience...

Places are extremely limited in this intimate venue, we would advise you to get in touch as soon as you are able!
